Anyone expecting to read a run of the mill thriller will be pleasantly surprised by this excellent book. Wonderful plot, superb dialogue and a host of intriguing characters guarantee this as a page turner. The conclusion of this story certainly surprised and shocked me. Brilliant!
If ever anyone said that an author would be hard pressed to combine murder, sex, suspense, religion, horror, humor and fantasy into one novel, this text will leave them awestruck. Anthony Hulse handles the life-long struggle between good and evil and he does it well, and effortlessly.

He coaxes the reader to watch a young man walk into a house engulfed in flames, and save the lives of children trapped inside. They all escape—and without any burns or injuries; a miracle?

The author’s characters are priceless. One memorable one is a newspaper reporter. She’s a testy, street-smart red-haired gal whose landlord happens to be a Catholic priest and, well—you can probably imagine how everything moves on from here. Yes? No; you can’t, and Anthony Hulse makes certain of that.

The chapters read quickly and smoothly; soon we’re acquainted with an elderly Mother Superior of a convent in England, enjoy a few pints with our new friend the priest, and before long we find ourselves in Rome, Italy and come upon a blue bird that’s a symbolic omen of future events.

When a certified bad guy meets up with a killer who’s hired by the church in a third world country—stand back. They’re deeply involved in an olio of humanity and what evolves is a panoply of blatant sex, natural events and horrors of all varieties; especially the psychological ones we create in our own minds. Now, that’s a springboard to a mind-flipping series of events that we’ll not quickly forget.

A great many authors spend an inordinate amount of time on two parts of their book—the beginning and the end. Too often, they neglect the middle. Hulse makes sure to cover each of these three bases and what results is worthy of a five star rating. If you want a good, solid, enjoyable read—this is it.

Ethan is hailed as a mystery hero, to some and a fake to others. When conman Jake tags on to Ethan they start to con the public my stage managing different senarios and starting a cult following.
They travel to Africa as well as many other places preaching and conning followers out of millions of pounds. This is a fast moving story that had me hooked from page 1. An easy to read book that is well worthy of 5* 10 September 2016.
What a stupid waste of time book. Honestly the reviews must have been written by his family. Read something else!
