Mary Stanton began her writing career with one of the most-beloved beast fables of our time; THE HEAVENLY HORSE FROM THE OUTERMOST WEST. She loves writing for younger audiences and loves writing about magic but, after the YA fantasy series The Unicorns of Balinor appeared in 1999, she spent most of her career in the adult mystery field. Nice to sit down with a cup of coffee and read a chaper.
They were hard to find as they were written quite a while back and
I hope they release new ones for this generation to read.

I absolutely LOVED this book. The five years that I had to wait to be able to read this book were most definitely worth it! I can't wait to be able to read the thrilling sequel. Although I never expected another antagonist to rise from the ashes after The Shifter was defeated!
